“Your soul is dyed with the colour of its thoughts.”
Marcus Aurelius.
You have decisions to make this week, some of them important; though the little ones matter too as, unmade, their girth increases.
And you don’t want that.
Many are entirely your call. I know this because you are an adult human, and that means decision-making.
Every 🐥 day.
In fact, what’s causing much of your ennui is your thinking around THAT THING you need to do… but haven’t.
I advise you sort it pronto to bring a preternatural calm, if only for a jiffy.

Where ARE you spending the Xmas holidays this year?
That wasn’t mine, Sharon and l are sorted. We’ve been invited to my brother’s and he’s a terrific cook.
I spent a long overdue half day sorting personal financials: portals, long calls, long-lost logins and hard sums.
If you find this tough going and are somewhat paralysed, try the stoic practise of negative visualisation:
Imagine the worst that can happen in every area of your life. That prepares you for inevitable tragedies, while leaving you thankful for your current good fortune.
Good fortune might not last l hear you say, and that’s true…but so what? Nothing lasts forever.
Now, another idea…
Think of those in a bigger pickle than you: Rachel & Keir, Kamala & Barack, Gerry & Adrian… and poor Pep.
They’re feeling the heat this Monday morning, and will for the foreseeable.
And now…
Eschew the facile trope that “things can only get better”, because they surely could be much worse.
Now you’re ready to be decisive. Many other decisions inescapably flow from you taking this one action: it was an unblocking, now you are on a roll.
A final word, though…
Some decisions can safely be left to go away, or resolve, by themselves.
Go back to your days playing Hungry Hippos and envision, no matter how tempting, not to collect so many of those wee balls.
Let someone else have them, some days let others have them all.
That, my friends, is life-changing.
